Knock Knock Jokes
We love our weekend adventures. To be honest, they're always the highlight of my week. So much about these adventures for me is just seeing the kids interacting with different people in a new environment, and by doing so, opening up a headspace where I can fully appreciate the seemingly inconsequential moments that exist in the days between. The irony is that, oftentimes, the event itself is not the main event, it's simply the conduit to experiencing the real gems; the fleeting gestures, the habits, the laughs, and the surprises. Case in point. This weekend was Leif’s birthday weekend and we decided we wanted to see the Arts and Technology Festival at The Jepson Arts Center in Savannah. The exhibit was underwhelming, and what was advertised as a free event was free only for residents of Chatham County (we live in Bryan). No big deal.
